    Abstract
In a culture that is plagued by the growing divorce rate and the constantly changing image of family, the most serious concern is the children who live through and beyond the break-up of their families. With this in mind, it is my intention to offer a one day workshop of empathy, hope and prayer to children in the middle elementary grades. The primary goal of the workshop will be to address the childrens’ need to understand, cope with and begin healing from the divorce or separation of their parents.
