    Abstract
The Roman Catholic Church, especially in the past two decades, has stressed the need for gradual and prolonged marriage preparation (remote, proximate, immediate and aftercare). Programs and materials have been developed to address the various stages of this need. However, an area which continues to be neglected is marriage aftercare; this aftercare, when focused on newly married couples (those married five years or less), | will refer to as “early marriage enrichment.”
