    Abstract
To increase awareness of story, and particularly one's life as a story, is one of the principal objectives of this project. It is important for a person to express his or her life in the form of a story. One is then better able to know oneself, one's strengths and weaknesses, one's emotions, and one's fears. This knowledge brings a perspective out of which one can then respond to life's challenges, losses, and triumphs. Unresolved experiences and memories can be highlighted and brought to completion. Areas needing development can be determined. These benefits lead to the realization that one's life story can be viewed as a means for achieving wholeness of one's person and as a vehicle for growth and becoming all that one can be.
