    Abstract
The Pastoral concern being addressed by this project proposal is that of developing a faith community which sees itself as the "primary minister" of our Sunday liturgies. Virtually all liturgists writing today agree that we as a Church need to become more aware of the role of what Eugene Walsh calls "the celebrating community" in our Sunday worship. The problem from the perspective of one who prepares liturgy for the parish is that we as a Catholic people still seem to have difficulty in getting past a sense of being an "audience," of having something done for us.
