dc.description.abstract | I propose a workshop for those soon-to-be ordained deacons and their wives, as laypersons, to bring to their attention the seriousness of the state of crisis of marriage and family in the United States today, as well as in the Catholic community. I hope to also educate them in the basic understanding of Catholic teachings, doctrines, and Canon Law about marriage, divorce, and remarriage. Finally, I hope to help them recognize the critical role they will play in these issues as they minister as ordained deacons. | en_US |
