Abstract
The word hospice has a negative implication in our society. Mentioning the word conjures feelings of fear, hopelessness, despair, suffering, surrender, and death. What if this were to change? What if the phrase hospice could emit feelings of warmth, commitment, compassion, empathy, and meaning. What if one could find beauty and significance with the remaining time that is left to live life with intention and purpose? This author intends to propose a business plan for a hospice house that will offer compassion through care with the focus of individualized ministration.
