dc.description.abstract | We have all heard the saying, “It takes a village to raise a child”. I contend that it takes an entire faith community sharing their faith with a child in order for that child to truly know Jesus. Because of that conviction, our faith community set out to plan catechesis and share faith in a different way than had been done before. Realizing that change usually occurs by taking small steps, we decided to take some of those steps in how we did catechesis in our parish community. We believe that if our faith formation is to be effective, it needs to include all generations of the community. We also believe that faith formation needs to support families and to respect their busy schedules. | en_US |
