Seeking God In Our Stories
Master of Arts in Pastoral Theology
The sharing of human experience has the potential to function as an anchor in a dysfunctional world tossed about by change and at a time when humankind is confronted with a pluralism of values, spiritualities, and political realities. Yet how often does the person sitting in the pew on Sunday morning feel that his/her story has little or no meaning, and so the story is never heard. It is my pastoral concern that the stories of many people are not being told, or if told, are not being affirmed because the storytellers do not know how to use the "tools" at their disposal to fashion these stories into stories of faith.
